SUBSCRIPTION CONCERT VOL. 183
ROSSINI – MENDELSSOHN – DVORÁK
The Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra is pleased to present Subscription Concert Vol. 183 under the baton of conductor Kim Xuân Hiếu, featuring violinist Hoàng Hồ Khánh Vân.
This program offers a journey through three distinctive facets of nineteenth-century European music: from the wit and theatrical brilliance of Rossini’s Overture to The Barber of Seville, to the elegance and poetic lyricism of Mendelssohn’s celebrated Violin Concerto in E minor, and finally to the expansive world of Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8, one of the most vibrant and beloved symphonies of the Romantic era.
These three works reveal contrasting musical personalities, yet they are united by their positive spirit, expressive melodies, and remarkable ability to connect directly with audiences.
The concert promises an evening rich in color and emotion, ranging from the sparkling humor of Italian opera to the natural beauty and lyrical soul of Central Europe.
